What is timeshare floating time?

Answered By Mel Tremaine, Editor

The timeshare floating time works by you buying your vacation time by size of unit and season of the year. It is not designated to the actual date or week of the year. This kind of timeshare gives you the responsibility to contact your home resort every year to confirm your exact date of arrival to the resort. This timeshare operates usually by first come-first served basis. This means that highly desirable weeks go early during their season.
